A cool breeze sent a sudden chill down the girl's spine. She wasn't going to win the battle against even the most amateur trainer of all. How someone as skilled as this girl would lose to a newbie trainer was unheard of, but it was happening. The worst part was the deal that was made. If the girl won, she would be given the other trainer's Pokémon, but if it was the other way around, the girl would lose her Metagross.

"Metagross, come on! You're a great beast, use Meteor Mash!" cried the girl.

"Turtwig, use withdraw to block it, then use Grass Knot to trip Metagross down!"

When the Turtwig had finally finished off the powerful Metagross, the girl called it back, and handed it to the bandit, who responded, "Thank you. A powerful Psychic type is all I need to finish off my plans!" The bandit then ran far away, and was never seen by the girl again.

CHAPTER I - A New Beginning
The summer morning sun shone bright in the sky. A new trainer name Evan was getting his first Pokémon. It was his thirteenth birthday. The old rules about Pokémon had changed, and the age limit was raised three years. Even though Evan had to wait three extra years (he was mad that he found this out on his tenth birthday), he was very excited to be getting his very own Pokémon.

"This is disastrous! My Pokémon are all gone!" cried Professor Maple. "This must be... I need to call the police!" All of the sudden, Evan walked in.

"Hey professor! I'm here to get my Pokémon like you promised!" screamed Evan.

"Hi, Evan, hold on... Police? Thank gosh! A bandit has stolen three of my Pokémon within the blink of an eye!" The police could be heard from Evan as small mumbling, and then the professor hung up. "Well, you see Evan, I had the choice of three Pokémon, but as you heard, they were stolen!" Evan began to sigh. "Don't get discouraged, though those Pokémon were rare, we can just go catch another one! Now lucky for us, we are right near a group of rare Pokémon attraction points, and can find a Pokémon just as rare!"

"It's okay. Stuff like this always happens to me. I hadn't even chosen which of the three I would get yet, hehe. Well, anyway, let's go."

Evan and the professor left the lab, told his mother of the circumstances, and went off to catch a Pokémon.

Chapter II - Pokémon Playpark!
"Hurry up, Starly!" cried the Bidoof. "I'm flying as fast as I can!" replied Starly. Today was the grand opening of the Pichu Bro's new playpark, their biggest and best ones yet, that would even shock the minds of humans. As soon as they got there, Starly and Bidoof had great times. All of the sudden, a Drowzee, Bagon, and Houndour attacked the playpark.

After the whole year of hard work put in by the Pichu Bro's, three pokemon had ruined it on the first day. It's a good thing Pikachu came in and zapped the Houndour, which made the other two run away. After they were gone, the Pichu Bro's attempted to rebuild quickly, but ended up missing a gear. That gear was said by an old Manectric to be held by the Drowzee as it ran away.

Bidoof and Starly, good friends with the Pichu Bro's, offered to help. "Papa Pikachu", the Pikachu that scared away the bad pokemon, said that they could help him look for the three miscreants, and get the missing gear back. They gladly accepted, as they wanted to be heroes. And so Bidoof, Starly, and Pikachu set off on an adventure that would result in many outcomes.
